About the Role
As a WordPress Developer at Themewizz, you’ll work on a variety of exciting projects, from business websites and eCommerce stores to custom web applications and enterprise-level WordPress solutions. You’ll collaborate with designers, developers, SEO specialists, and project managers to build modern, responsive, and high-performing websites.
What You’ll Do
- Develop custom WordPress websites from design to deployment.
- Build custom WordPress themes and plugins.
- Develop and maintain WooCommerce stores and custom functionality.
- Customize existing WordPress websites based on client requirements.
- Optimize website speed, security, and SEO performance.
- Integrate third-party APIs, CRMs, payment gateways, and marketing tools.
- Troubleshoot bugs and provide ongoing website maintenance.
- Ensure responsive design across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Perform WordPress core, theme, and plugin updates.
- Follow WordPress coding standards and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of professional WordPress development experience.
- Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience developing custom WordPress themes and plugins.
- Experience working with WooCommerce.
- Solid understanding of Git version control.
- Experience with REST API integration.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
