About the Role
As a Shopify Developer at Themewizz, you’ll design, develop, customize, and optimize Shopify stores for businesses across multiple industries. You’ll work closely with designers, project managers, marketers, and fellow developers to build fast, secure, and conversion-focused eCommerce websites.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain custom Shopify stores.
- Build custom Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Customize Shopify storefronts based on business requirements.
- Develop and integrate Shopify apps and third-party services.
- Implement Shopify APIs and custom functionality.
- Optimize website speed, SEO, and Core Web Vitals.
- Integrate payment gateways, shipping providers, and ERP/CRM systems.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide ongoing support.
- Ensure responsive performance across desktop and mobile devices.
- Follow Shopify development best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews and Agile development processes.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of professional Shopify development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Shopify platform and Shopify Admin.
- Experience developing custom Shopify themes.
- Strong understanding of Shopify Liquid.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design.
- Experience with Git version control.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and GraphQL.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
